|
We welcome your participation in the Joe's Diecast Shack message boards, however as a courtesy to all users we ask for your cooperation in abiding by a few rules in order to maintain your active membership within these message boards. These forums are for members to members only and are family oriented. If you want to participate with others on the Joe’s Diecast Shack Forum, you will need to register. You can read without registering, but you must register to post. Registration is free and only takes about 2 minutes. A significant reason for the success of the Joe’s Diecast Shack Forum is our insistence that all participants obey the simple set of rules posted below. If you can abide by the rules below please continue and click here to register: http://ezboard.com/forms/global_user_register.php. If you feel these rules are unacceptable, thank you for your honesty, and we ask that you please stop here. We intend to provide the highest quality community experience for all of our members and following these guidelines is the best way to maintain a quality environment for all users. If we find that you break any of these rules, your account may be suspended or banned and your posting privileges removed. These rules are very basic and we hope that you read them fully. Thanks for your cooperation. Temporary suspension will result from abuse of the following rules… Continued abuse following suspension will result in a permanent ban.
Joe's Diecast Shack reserves the right to change or alter these rules at any time and an Administrator’s word is final. Other than enforcing the above rules, the management and staff does not attempt to validate any comments or recommendations provided by participants. |

Other Message Board Linking Guidelines |
||
| More sites=more info=good for collectors. However,
there are ways to do this. First, this board isn't free. And since it's supported by me, Sponsors, and the Membership, free linking other sites on a popular place is unfair to the folks who bear the cost. Just a note to think about--the majority of folks who have been free linking recently do nothing to support this place, aren't EZSupporters, have never offered to help. We have a very good links page on the main site. Unlike many, we aren't simply a message board, we're a whole site, with places to add links to other sites. If you own a non-commercial site or board, and would like a link, email me. The only cost is a link back to us. There's also a number of folks who have links in signature banners. That's great, and is allowed. However, making a post with a title like 'Check this out' and the entire content is just a redirect, it's gonna get pulled. So is repeated editing of a good post to keep your valuable post with a link somewhere near the top posts. And repeated replies by a site owner without added value to again keep the good post with a link near the top will also get pulled. Trust me, these last two things do happen. About links to private or site sales elsewhere--contact me before posting these. (this DOES NOT apply to the Trade boards--no need to contact me about that stuff) Finally, the last type of link--commercial. Please contact me before posting these as we have sponsors here and free competing links are unfair to them. So there ya go. Doesn't sound like I'm being very unfair. Maybe I am. I don't know. But to me it seems like these simple rules should be easy to follow. --Joe |
