Camaros and Firebirds

Being that this is my first article for Joe's Diecast Shack, I am going to try to make this as informative and interesting as possible! As many of you know, I only collect Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird toy cars and models. I was an avid Hot Wheels collector for about 8 years before I found my true calling. I was spending way to much time and money and I didn't even like half of the cars that I was purchasing. I went through the "Burned-out" stage where I sold off most of my collection, but something was there telling me not to get out of the diecast hobby completely. That is when I found my true calling! I have always had a passion with Chevy Camaro'=s and Pontiac Firebird's... their sleek designs, their powerful engines, and most of all, they way I felt driving one down the street! That is when my diecast collection took a turn for the better. In the past two years I have amassed well around 700 different Camaro toy cars and models, and 400 Firebird's. My collection is still growing, and I love collecting these little toy cars now more than I ever did! But enough about me already, let's get you the low-down on what's new in the Camaro & Firebird Diecast/Model world!!
