Hi all,

By now I'm sure everyone who wanted the new Matchbox Limousine has gotten one. And before the "new and cool" wears off, I thought a comparison between the Hot Wheels Limozeen and the matchbox Limousine would be kinda fun. Enjoy!!

Both cars start out strong, with very defined limo elements. Each has a stretched body, and classic big-car lines. Both cars look like the initial design was based on a Lincoln body. The Hot Wheels car has the older style Lincoln nose, while the Matchbox looks very much like the new Town Car. Lace wheels are included on both cars, as is proper for a Limo!! Would you be caught out on the town in a car with PR-5's?? The MB has completely blacked out windows, while the HW has clear glass. I prefer the clear, but as limo's go, darker is the norm.

In the rear, the MB car continues the Lincoln look, with a stubby trunk area rearward sloping roofline. The HW has taken on a more Cadillac-like taillight setup and a nearly vertical roof drop. Both cars come with very small rear windows, again very true to real limo's.

	Both of these cars include a moon roof and a detailed seating area. The HW version shows a single bench seat and what appears to be a small wet-bar area. The MB, on the other hand, has a rear bench and an L-shaped seating area. The rear bench is so detailed that it even shows a folded down arm rest, with the requisite 2 cup holders. And of course, there is a bar/entertainment area. The MB lacks a full interior, hence the black glass.
It was difficult to choose a better car, but the updated look of the MB version gets my nod. Little details like the door mirrors and that great seating area make this one a little better. The HW version isn't a dog, but the casting is a bit dated. I did run both these cars down the track, and neither is a competent racer. Both cars have a plastic chassis and are pretty light despite their long length. But if you have to know, the MB won the limo race!!
